Bastille Day Block Party 2012
by Nate Ryan
July 16, 2012
With the Pizza Lucé and Pride Block Parties on hiatus for 2012, the Bastille Day celebration outside of Barbette was one of the Uptown neighborhood of Minneapolis's only chances to take in some free live music outdoors this summer. The block party's organizers seemed to recognize this fact and consequently booked one of their strongest lineups yet, featuring headliner Astronautalis and equally large-drawing openers like Peter Wolf Crier, A. Wolf and Her Claws, and Prissy Clerks.
This activity is made possible in part by the Minnesota Legacy Amendment’s Arts & Cultural Heritage Fund.
