The weather in April may be unpredictable—here in Minnesota, we barely flinch when the skies dump a foot of snow on us one week and melt it all away with sunny weather the next—but there is one thing we can rely on year in and year out: The announcement of another summer festival season, including the annual Rock the Garden concert at the Walker Art Center.
This Tuesday, April 15, at 4 p.m., tune to the Current for our live reveal of the lineup for Rock the Garden 2014—which, for the first time, will expand to two days of music on June 21 and 22. And to get ready, take a trip back to Rock the Garden 2013 courtesy of a new special from MN Original.
MNO’s Rock the Garden 2013 special will air this Sunday night, April 13, at 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. on tpt 2 (Twin Cities Public Television), with footage of Dan Deacon’s historic parking garage performance, Low’s much-buzzed about drone set, and energetic performances by Bob Mould, Silversun Pickups, and headliners Metric.
And ahead of the special’s on-air debut, you can watch the episode on the web right here:
