Kanye West’s ‘All Day’ studio track features Allan Kingdom – and Paul McCartney

by Jay Gabler

March 03, 2015

The local music community was happily surprised when St. Paul rapper Allan Kingdom appeared on stage with Kanye West at last week's Brit Awards to add guest vocals to a new West song, "All Day." The next question was, would Kingdom be on the studio version of the track too? The track has now been officially released, and the answer is yes, Kingdom is on it: and so is Sir Paul McCartney, who is heard whistling at the end of the track.

McCartney is a collaborator on at least two additional tracks on the forthcoming West album, which we now know will be titled So Help Me God. A purportedly "leaked" track list that's been circulating online shows Spooky Black—a.k.a. Corbin, Kingdom's bandmate in thestand4rd—also appearing on the album, but Psymun, also a member of thestand4rd, says "Corbin is not on this album tho that track list is clearly fake."

We'll be watching closely for official details to emerge regarding the West album, which is easily the year's most talked-about release in the music industry as a whole and marks an exciting moment for Minnesota hip-hop.
