Prince fans, rejoice! Prince is returning to the metro area for two shows -- on the same day -- at Myth Live, May 25th, 2013.

Tickets will go on sale Saturday, May 4th at noon on the MythLive website and eTix. Tickets are $259 a pop, a price tag that's already resulting in some sticker shock for local fans.

"We realize tickets aren't cheap for this experience," a representative from Myth posted on their Facebook page, posting a link to a set list from a similar show Prince just played in San Francisco. "The ticket prices are the same on nearly every date of Prince's current, intimate tour run."

No word yet on what crazy antics Prince will trot out in addition to giving more exposure to his backing band 3rd Eye Girl, but if his SXSW show is any indication, it's a can't-miss show, and a very rare (non-festival) opportunity for the all-ages crowd to bask in the purple glory.
