Vita.mn unveils Music & Movies lineup at Lake Harriet Bandshell
May 29, 2013
Summer outdoor concert season is upon us! Hot on the heels of the Stone Arch Bridge Festival lineup announcement and last week's Loring Park Music & Movies reveal comes news of Vita.mn's annual Music & Movies showcase at the Lake Harriet Bandshell.
This year's lineup is especially strong musically. It will be the first major shows for both John Mark Nelson and Now, Now since they performed at the Current's birthday parties back in January, and the series will finish up with excellent dance-pop duo Strange Names and alt-country crooner Frankie Lee.
The Vita.mn series takes place over four Friday nights in August, with music starting at 7:30 p.m. each night and a movie screening at 9. All four events are free and all ages.
August 2
John Mark Nelson + The Goonies
August 9
Now, Now + Adventures in Babysitting
August 16
Strange Names + Space Camp
August 23
Frankie Lee + Honey, I Shrunk The Kids
