Wilco, Sleater-Kinney, and Chance the Rapper to headline 2015 Pitchfork Music Festival

by Jay Gabler

February 13, 2015

The 2015 Pitchfork Music Festival has announced its lineup, headed by Chicago natives Wilco as well as the reunited Sleater-Kinney and Chance the Rapper. Also performing in the festival, which will take place at Chicago's Union Park from July 17-19, are CHVRCHES, Mac DeMarco, Future Islands, the New Pornographers, Kurt Vile, Run the Jewels, Courtney Barnett, and many more.

The announcement adds to the local excitement for Sleater-Kinney's sold-out show tomorrow night at First Avenue. Fans who catch that show will have an easier time deciding what to do on July 17 and 18, which is also the weekend of the new Eaux Claires Festival curated by Justin Vernon and Aaron Dessner.

Tickets for the Pitchfork Music Festival are now on sale. Here's the complete lineup, via—where else?—Pitchfork.
