So declares Lionel Richie, who's an Adele fan and is happy that her smash hit "Hello" has drawn renewed attention to his signature ballad from 1984. "We are going to be doing something together," he says — but acknowledges that it may have to wait for her tour to be over. (E!)
Sinéad O'Connor's Facebook page has been deactivated after disturbing posts continued to appear this week, detailing struggles with her family and alarming fans who are worried about the singer's safety. People reports that O'Connor's Facebook hiatus is "at the urging of her loved ones."
John Fogerty and Spoon have been added to the lineup for a star-studded John Lennon birthday concert to be broadcast Dec. 19 on AMC. Also booked for the show are Eric Church, Sheryl Crow, and Juanes; Lennon's former bandmates Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr will contribute video tributes. (Billboard)
Meanwhile, Ringo Starr is preparing to auction 800 personal items to raise money for his Lotus Foundation charity. The online auction, which will take place Friday and Saturday, will include a pair of rings he wore at every Beatles show and an original U.K. mono edition of the White Album — with serial number A0000001.
