Prince becomes a comic-book hero

by Jay Gabler

December 03, 2013

Dig, if you will, a picture: actually, 32 pages of pictures, drawn by comic artist Ernesto Lovera to a story written by Michael L. Frizell. Fame Prince, a publication from Bluewater Productions, will be available December 4 for purchase and download. It tells the story of the Minnesota music legend's life from his 60s childhood through his 70s dues-paying and his 80s heyday, right up through the glyph period and into the present day.

Previously, Bluewater has taken on Madonna, Michael Jackson, Beyoncé, Adele, and even Drake; forthcoming titles will feature Johnny Depp and—wait for it—Sharon Osbourne. Fame Prince will be available with two different covers, by Lovera (above, right) and Iordan Terziiski (left). Below, take a look at a few sample panels.
